A BODY OF WORK

Diana Agunbiade-Kolawole &

Vivian Eckstein

Jan 9th - Jan 12th 2020

--------------------------------

Two young artists met in France 2016 where both studied Fine Arts at the Beaux Arts de Paris. Formed a friendship and mutual respect for each other's works, 4 years later they will embark on a 2 city show in the separate cities where they have settled to continue their art practices.

For "A Body of Work" the artists have produced new works in dialog with each other, navigating the temporal/spatial separation and the agency of the female body as material.

Eckstein of Germany and Agunbiade-Kolawole of Sweden via London through a chance encounter in Paris, the culmination of the exhibition speaks to how influence on contemporary art is formed not alone by the means of the web but supported through the curiosity to explore physical places.
