DADDY ISSUES   by and with: Rebecka Pershagen

[Daddy Issues = a derogatory term used to describe the behavior of young women who are attracted to and / or have sexual relationships with older men.]

-----------

Daddy Issues is a monologue about older men, young women who love them, and the world who think that these women are stupid.

The monologue is based on the autobiographical experiences, and oscillates between humor and seriousness.

We meet dreaming girls, speedy moralists and shameful women, in stories of constantly being deprived of interpretation of their own sexuality.

Welcome to group therapy!

The monologue received the MOST PROVOCATIVE AWARD at the Gothenburg Fringe Festival 2016, and was thereafter awarded the LONDON EXCHANGE AWARD which facilitates two performances at the Wandsworth Fringe Festival in May 2017 (in collaboration with Fragility).

It's toured all over Sweden and to Denmark, and in May 2019 it will be part of the Nordic Fringe Season at Brighton Fringe.
