Rivka Rossweisse is the stage name of jazz singer Rebecka Pershagen.

 

Her sultry and sensual low voice (alto), as well as her knowledge of English, French and German, makes her perfect for the classic repertoire of e.g. Marlene Dietrich, Edith Piaf, Judy Garland and Swedish jazz legend Monica Zetterlund.

Pershagen trained at the Royal Swedish Theatre Academy, where she recieved her BFA in Musical Theatre in 2010.

She has previously sung jazz, bossanova and standards prior to her education, and is regularly hired for private and public events.

 

Apart from singing, Pershagen is also an actress, playwright, performance artist and IT entrepreneur.
